This is a very short llama trek and could perfectly be done as a preparation for longer treks or climbing expeditions.

This trek take us through ancient pre Inca trails surrounded by overwhelming flora and very beautiful landscapes. It requires a good physical condition.

Day 01 : Lima / Huaraz / Canrey Chico / Rodio

Transfer by bus to the Llama ranch in Canrey Chico at around 07:30 am. Arrival and typical breakfast (Papacashqui). After a short rest we will start our llama trek. This Day we will enjoy beautiful panoramic scenes of the white peaked mountains and overwhelming landscapes in Canrey Chico. First camping site will be at 3500 masl in Rodio. Dinner and overnight.

Day 02 : Rodio / Shonkopampa

After breakfast we continue our llama trek going through fields and getting closer to the white mountains. After a while we will reach Yanashallash pass at 4700 masl. We will then have lunch and rest for half and hour. Then we'll go down the zigzag path to our next camp site in Shoncopampa, located at 3800 masl. Dinner and overnight.

Day 03 : Shonkopamapa / Chavin

Breakfast and continue our llama trek through the peasant villages of Chichucancha, Hatu, and Nunupata where we will make a stop for lunch. After a short rest we will continue until reaching the Pre Inca ruins of Chavin at 3050 masl. Check in at Hotel Chavin and visit to this interesting PreInca site. Transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 04 : Chavin / Huaraz

Breakfast and bus transfer back to Huaraz. End of services.
