Puno Tours - Tours in Puno

Puno is one of the highest cities in Peru. In Puno it is located Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.

Staying overnight in local family houses in Amantani and Suasi Island will definitively be an unforgettable experience.

Suasi island Uros' island


Day 01 : Lima / Juliaca (Sillustani on the way) / Puno

Arrival in Juliaca and transfer to Puno (located at 20 kms), on the way we will visit the archaeological center of Sillustani. We will observe impressive funeral tombs belonging to the Kolla culture (1200-1450). Their noble class (Caciques, priests) were buried in funeral towers called chullpas. Their corpses were previously mummified and placed in fetus position together with some of their belongings, such as gold and silver objects, jewelry, ceramics, and food. Then we continue towards the city of Puno for stay overnight.

Day 02 : Floating Island of Uros / Amantani Island

Early breakfast and transfer to the local pier. Then we will visit the floating islands of Uros. Main Activities in these Islands -made of totora- are fishing, hunting, and taxidermy. We will then continue towards Amantani island where we will stay overnight in local families houses. After lunch we will visit Pachamama and Pachatata ceremonial centers, where we will enjoy the beautiful fauna and flora of the Lake Titicaca Reserve. At night typical dinner and folk show offered by the villagers. Overnight.

Day 03 : Amantani Island / Suasi Island

After breakfast we take our boat towards Suasi Island at about 03 hours from Amantani. Suasi is a nature paradise where man, fauna, and flora live together in perfect harmony. In Suasi you wilbb be able to participate in daily local activities such as fishing, feeding the animals, or farming. Overnight in a family house.

Day 04 : Suasi / Conima / Huancane / Taraco / Juliaca


Breakfast and departure to Conima (at 30 min.) from where we will begin our trip back to Juliaca conima we began the trip from return to the City by land to Juliaca, in the way we will visit the towns of Moho, Huancane, and Taraco. We will visit beautiful colonial churches and plazas. Arrival in Juliaca and transfer to your hotel, bus station, or airport. End of services.
