One of Peru's best-known hot springs, the Inca Baths were a favorite with the Inca ruler, avid to enjoy the benefits of the thermal baths, where temperatures range from 67-76°C.
Located just 6 km from the city of Cajamarca, the district of Baños del Inca (2,720 meters) features several hotels which guarantee visitors superb hot pools in every room and even a European-designed spa.
The tourist complex has been remodeled and now includes bungalows for tourists, baths and swimming pools, and archaeological sites which are being researched by local experts.
