Laquipampa Reserved Zone was established on October 5, 1982, through Law (Resolución Ministerial) N 006-92-82-AG/DGFF.
This reserve is situated in the department of Lambayeque, province of Ferreñafe, district of Incahuasi and has a surface of 11 346,90 hectares.
The main goal of this area is to preserve the pava aliblanca (Penelope albipennis), that inhabits in Quebrada de Negrahuasi, Quebrada de Reloj, Sector Lajas, and Quebrada de Shembo.
