Day 01 Arrival to Lima


We'll be waiting for you at the airport of Lima with a sign with your name. After that, we will take you to your Hotel in the most tourist and safest district of Lima, Miraflores. (Overnight Miraflores)

Day 02: Peruvian Paso Horse Ride / Lima

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Mamacona Ranch, where you will have a 2 hours riding tour at the beach and valley or mountains and valley. You will enjoy a very exciting ride with a traditional Peruvian Paso Horse. The Peruvian Paso Horse is a 400 years old breed descendant from the horses that accompanied the discovery of the America Continent. This horse is widely as the best saddle horse in the world because of its extraordinarily smooth ride, arrogance attitude, even temperament and overall rideability. Day 03: Lima - Cusco

After breakfast, we will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to the Inca capital of Cusco. Upon arrival we will be transferred to your hotel. Cusco also known as "The Navel of the Earth" for the Incas with it is fascinating Inca buildings and ruins. Cusco was and will always be the capital of the Inca culture. It shows a fascinating contrast between ancient cultures and the Spanish conquest. This is obvious as we have a look for example at their customs, the traditional parties, where a lot of Inca rituals are demonstrated, the official Inca language Quechua that is still spoken. You never stop exploring Cusco . Free day to get acclimatized to the 3 360 m.a.s.l. (Overnight Cusco) (B)

Day 04: Cusco City Tour and Nearby Ruins

Breakfast at the Hotel. In the afternoon, a City Tour walking through the Cathedral, Qorikancha or the Sun Temple and the surroundings ruins: The Sacsayhuamán Fortress. People think it was an astronomic observatory and is used for meditation because of its great accumulated cosmic energy. You will visit Q'enqo, this place was used for worship and ceremonial center, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay or Inca's Bath . Return to the Hotel. (Overnight Cusco ) (B)

Day 05: Starts Inca Trail - Cusco / km. 82 / Wayllabamba

At 6:00 A.M. At 6:00 A.M. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco very early in the morning, to take bus to the Km 82 to begin your trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu . In your way you will visit the Inca reamins of Patallaqta and Willqaraqay. After approximately three hours walking you will stop for lunch. you will continue walking towards your first camp at Wayllabamba. Dinner and overnight in tents at the campsite. (Overnight Camping) (B, L, D)

Day 06: Wayllabamba (2300 m.a.s.l.) / Warmiwañuska (4200 m.a.s.l.) / Pacaymayu

After breakfast, the toughest part of the trail begin, walking towards the highest point in the Inca Trail where you will have an unbelievable panoramic view of the whole area and will observe different types of microclimates. After a 3 hours walk you will reach the first pass, named Warmiwañiusca or Dead Woman's Pass, at approximately 4200 m.a.s.l. Here, you will have a tremendous feeling of achievement mixed with relief on reaching the top. After lunch you will continue your walking down to Pacaymayo where you will camp and have dinner. Day 07: Pacaymayu / Phuyupatamarka

After breakfast start the descent towards the second most important pass of the trail at 3,850 m.a.s.l. having a guided visit at the archaeological complex of Runkurakay and the Inca citadel of Sayacmarca. Continue your trekking towards Puya Patamarka (Cloud-level town), another important archaeological monument, where lunch will be served. After a short break you will continue walking to Wiñay Huayna (Forever Young) for a guided visit of this impressive archaeological complex with a spectacular setting. Dinner and overnight at the camp. (Overnight camping) (B, L, D)

Day 08: Phuyupatamarka / Machu Picchu - End of the Inca Trail - Cusco

After breakfast, have a very early start to arrive in time for sunrise at Machu Picchu. After a one hour walk through the forest towards the Inti Punku or the Gate of the Sun, also known as the Entrance Gate to Machu Picchu , where you will have the most impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival at Machu Picchu , three-hours guided tour around the citadel, visiting the main sites and monuments. After the tour you will have free time to wander around, then you will meet with the rest of the group to drive by bus down to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, transfer by train to Cusco . Upon arrival in Cusco transfer to your hotel. (Overnight Hotel Cusco) (B)

Day 09: Free day Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day Cusco . Today, you can enjoy Cusco at your own, buy some souvenirs, take some photos or other activities. (Overnight Hotel Cusco) (B)

*Optional: You can move Day 10 before the Inca Trail starts, so you could have more time for acclimatization.

Day 10: Cusco - Manu

After breakfast, we leave Cusco early in the morning in our specialized overland vehicles. Approximately mid-morning we visit the interesting Pre- Inca tombs of Ninamarca, commonly known as "Chullpas". We continue to Paucartambo, a picturesque Spanish colonial town, and then to the Acjanacu pass, which marks the beginning of the Cultural Zone of Manu Biosphere Reserve. Here, a thick cloak of clouds provides perpetual humidity and makes an ideal habitat for epiphytic plants such as bromeliads. This varied and fascinating world is home of the Cock of the Rock, Spectacled Bear, Orchids, Tree Ferns (one of the oldest living plants), mosses and lichens. This cloud forest exists between 2000 and 3500 meters above sea level and at least 50% of the plant species found here are endemic to this region. Overnight in our open air lodge "San Pedro". (B, L, D)

Day 11: Manu Lodge

Today we wake up very early to observe the Cock-of-the-Rock (Rupicola peruviana), Peru 's national bird. The male birds are a vibrant reddish orange and about 5:00am . as many as several dozen come together for an exhibition of a ritual mating dance in a comfortably installed on an observation platform called "Lek". The males display their crest, showing off and posturing for the females. The females, fewer in number, watch to select the most suitable males. After breakfast we continue by bike down the narrow road between waterfalls and canyons toward Pilcopata town (*1) for 2 hours approximately (*2). A 30 minutes bus ride to the port of Atalaya where we will board our covered outboard motor boat and head down the Alto Madre de Dios River for approximately 30 minutes toward our private reserve of "Erika Lodge" where we will spend the next two nights. Short walk around the lodge. (B, L, D) (*1) Optional: Descend with mountain bikes from San Pedro Lodge (1700 m.a.s.l.) - Cloud Forest to Pilcopata- High Jungle (700 m.a.s.l.).

(*2) Optional: Here in Pilcopata we will make the final settings for a 3 hour tropical jungle river rafting trip down the Kosñipata river where we will have the opportunity for a dip and of course enjoy the spectacular view of the Koñeq canyon. Continuing down the tropical river of Alto Madre de Dios to the Lodge.

Day 12: Manu Lodge

The Lodge is located in a transition zone between high and low jungle (600 m.a.s.l. to 1,150 m.a.s.l, 1,200 to 3,450 feet) encompassing different habitats. This altitude range explains the high diversity of wildlife found around this lodge, so immediately after breakfast, we will start walking near the riverbanks, during the hike our guide will talk about insects, medicinal plants, trees, reptiles, mammals, etc. Early afternoon we will start a short ride by boat to visit a small lake near to the Alto Madre de Dios River , here we are going to have the chance to see the Hoatzin, a primitive bird, white caimans, many species of birds, insects, etc. Short night walk. This will be our last night in the wonderful amazon jungle. Overnight in the lodge. (B, L, D)   New!!! Expert guides assist you in this exciting journey through the different layers of the virgin rain forests and explain what's going on around you, from the time you leave the ground, until you rappel back down to the forest floor.

Day 13: Manu Lodge - Cusco

Today we will get up very early to board our boat, and after five minutes, we will arrive to a Parrot Lick "Collpa", which is a wall of clay in the riverbanks, where many species of parrots such as the blue headed parrot, white-eyed parakeet, feed for mineral and salt supplements to their diet of seeds and fruits. After this we will take the boat to Atalaya where the bus takes us out of Manu, arriving Cusco late in the afternoon. (Overnight Hotel Cusco) (B, L, D)

Day 14: Cusco - Lima

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima . Reception at the airport of Lima , and transfer to your hotel in Miraflores. (Overnight Hotel Miraflores) (B)

Day 15: Free day Lima

Breakfast. Free day to relax and enjoy the city. Overnight Hotel Miraflores (B)

Day 16: Lima - Huaraz

Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to bus station to take the bus to Huaraz. Transfer to Huaraz by bus, taking the Pan-American high way to the north side from Lima, until the Lima and Ancash department's boundary in the district of Paramonga, from here we'll start to climb the Cordillera Negra in its west side with direction to the highest pass from today Conococha 4500 masl. Here we'll find a small peasant village called Conococaha next to this village we will find a lake with the same name. From here we can already appreciate the views where the Cordillera Blanca starts, and just 50 kilometers aprox south from the Cordillera Blanca lies Cordillera Huayhuash and we can see only its peaks if there is no cloud. From Conococha we have to go down along the Santa River that runs through the Callejon de Huaylas until Huaraz. At 6pm aprox we will arrive and immediately we'll be transfer to the Hotel. Day 17: Huaraz: Free day for acclimatization

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for acclimatization. Overnight. (B)

Day 18: Huaraz - Llanganuco Lake - Vaqueria - Paria

After breakfast in the Hotel we will aboard the Bus to go along the Callejón de Huaylas in the north side of Huaraz. Passing different traditional Andean towns, first arriving and making the first stop in Carhuas (2650m), here we will find the traditional made at home Ice-Crams from local fruits, and authentic and ecological Handcrafts Shown in EL ABUELO handcrafts shop, El ABUELO is a shop located in the main square, where we will enjoy Carhuas' native products, then we will continue with our travel to the next stop in the ancient town of Yungay, this city was buried by an Avalanche that fell down from Huascaran Mountain in 1970, the New Yungay (2500m), from here we have to start going up to the Llanganuco Valley, almost in the base of Huascaran Mountain in its north side, for the entrance to the Llanganuco Valley we will register in the National Park's Control, after we will visit the two lakes of Llanganuco, where we will have Lunch, then in the early afternoon we will continue going up to the portachuelo pass (4767m) if the there is no cloud we will appreciate impressionant peaks of the Mountains, Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Pisco, Huandoy, and others, from here we will go down to Vaqueria (3600m aprox), here we will meet our donkey driver, donkeys and horses to help us with the luggage's then we will start our trekking, first we will make a short walk down and start going up by the Huaripampa valley, we will have most beautiful walking by the Andean small villages and full of pastures, we will arrive to the Paria small valley where we will camp (3800m). Day 19: Paria - Taullipampa

Today we will go up to the pass of Punta Union (4750m) from here we will have impression ant views of the mountains, landscapes, matching its natural mountain colours in the blue sky, the white mountains, Dark green hills, turquoise lakes, feeling the Andean fresh air at this altitude, from a short stop we will continue now going down until our camping place of Taullipampa (4250m) overnight camping. Day 20: Taullipampa - Llamacorral

Today we will have easy walking down almost flat area, but after to start walking flat area we will go a short path to the base camp of Alpamayo, 'cause we can't miss to enjoy the world's most beautiful mountain, then we will continue walking down passing by the small lakes named Jatun cocha and Ichic cocha, in a few hours we will get our camp place of Llamacorral at (3760m) overnight camping (B, L, D)

Day 21: Llamacorral - Cashapampa - Huaraz

From here we will start our last day trekking, going down by the beautiful valley full of plants, as we close to the town of cashapampa the valley will be narrow, and we will finish our trekking for about mid day, so we will go to the hot springs for about 30 minutes walking to have relax after 4 days trek, from here we will aboard our bus to Huaraz to our hotel arriving to Huaraz at 6 or 7pm. (Overnight Huaraz) (B, L)

Day 22: Huaraz - Lima

Free morning to buy their souvenirs, to walk around the city and take some pictures. At 01:00 in the afternoon transfer to the bus station, to take the bus to Lima . Reception at the Lima Bus station and transfer to your hotel. (Overnight Hotel Miraflores) (B)

Day 23: Lima - Back Home

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out at the hotel, and transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of services. (B)
